What the rates include

Moves are $170 an hour, depot to depot. That covers two movers, the truck, blankets and straps. The clock starts when the truck leaves our Tyagarah depot and stops when it returns, and travel inside the Byron shire is part of the hourly rate.

Rubbish removal is $100 per cubic metre. That covers the crew, the carrying and the tip run, and a half-full truck costs half. Tip fees are quoted upfront with everything else, never added after.

Minimum and billing

The minimum is 2 hours. That is the whole minimum. After the first hour we bill by the half hour, so you never pay for a full hour you did not use.

Weekends add $10 per person per hour. We say it here, we say it on the phone, and it never appears as a surprise on the invoice.

The quote

Anything that affects the price goes in the quote before you book, never after. The quote you approve is the price you pay. For rubbish jobs the volume is confirmed with you on site before any work starts.

Payment

Payment is on completion of the job. Bank transfer, card or cash, whichever suits you.

Cancellation

Cancellation is free with more than 48 hours notice. Inside 48 hours we may charge the 2 hour minimum, because that slot was held for you.

If we ever have to cancel on you, you pay nothing and hear about it the moment we know.

If something's damaged

There is a whole written policy for that, signed by the owner: report within 7 days with photos, assessment within 48 hours, then repair, replace or credit.
